We achieved a total score of 532 out of a maximum of 750 in the assessment conducted by Inspecta Sertifiointi Oy, which is considered excellent. At the time of evaluation, the average score among assessed companies was 393.

LAPP Group has not been spared from the weak global economy. However, it only recorded a slight decline in the past fiscal year 2024. The reason: the family-owned company was able to cushion declines in sales in its European home markets with large gains in Asia. Despite the difficult market environment, LAPP is sticking to its investment program.

LAPP Automaatio, which began the EPIC® SENSORS temperature sensors production in 1995, has recently made a significant investment in calibration services. 

Lapp Automation is the leading temperature measurement specialist in Finland. In many industrial sectors and at various process stages, it is important to know the exact temperatures. Lapp Automation has now added a new temperature sensor to its product range.

In September 2022, Ex i certification was granted for EPIC^® SENSORS temperature sensors. Ex i certified temperature sensors can be used in explosive environments. Uncertified sensors can also be used in Ex i circuits, but the use of certified sensors is much clearer and safer.

LAPP Group is known for its sustainability. The Finnish LAPP companies wanted to contribute to society by growing their own, LAPP ikimetsä - primeval forest, in the municipality of Ylitornio, Finnish Lapland. SunSilva Oy was selected as a partner. SunSilva Oy is a family business operating from Taivalkoski, whose business is the production of nature works of various sizes. The forest cultivation will begin in the seummer of 2023.
